I recognize there are many deserving students, and I am particularly grateful to have been selected as an awardee of the Mon Valley Initiative Promise. Now in my second year of nursing I am required to buy scrubs for clinical rounds and textbooks. Without this help, I simply did not have the money needed for these expenses.”
